There's a bit to be said about putting your very own name to something you've made. Quiet confidence or hard-fought pride, all that matters is that you'd be downright giddy to put your name to a Cabernet as good as this one.

From winemakers Elizabeth and Bernard Hooley, this namesake cabernet is a lavish blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon that's good enough to name your first-born after. Hand-harvested, the Bernard's Cabernet benefits from having its fruit crushed and soaked five days prior to fermentation, resulting in a flavour of bright red berries that'll have you salivating at first sip.

It's a great name and certainly not all that common, so acquaint yourself with the liquid-form Bernard from real Bernard and co. at Oakdene. Meeting new folk has never been so delicious.
