A quirkier drop from the Arfion stable, this wine pays homage to the "Vin Jaune" style of France's Jura region. Think oxidised apple, creamy cashew, beeswax and a touch of burnished honey - all wrapped up with a sharp, saline finish. Fruit was picked from clay-rich vineyards and spent a night on skins before being pressed to old puncheons, which lent an extra jolt of tannin and colour. A truly unique expression of the Yarra Valley, this is a fantastic curio for the more adventurous wine drinker.
