While dating back to the 1885, Henri attached his name to the family domaine in 2005. Exhaustive hours in the vineyard produce low yielding grapes of the highest quality. Excellent terroir matched with an incredibly talented winemaker always result in something special.

Coming from 57 year old vines, the 2017 Volnay 1er Cru Chevrets has a brilliant ruby red hue and displays aromas of red berries with floral violet notes. On the palate, it's very elegant and finely balanced, typical of Volnay with silky tannins and a long finish.

"Wafting from the glass with aromas of small red berries, raw cocoa and rose petal, the 2017 Volnay 1er Cru Les Chevrets is medium to full-bodied, melting and satiny, with a gourmand core of fleshy and succulent tannins that largely conceals its structuring tannins, balanced by an animating line of acidity." 90-92 points
