A Family owned winery since 1776, biodynamically cultivated since 2008.Fermentation happens using local yeast. This cuvee is named 'L'Ascendant, meaning "moving upward, rising. Grapes are sourced from Verzy and Montagne de Reims. It is a blend of wines with Solera system from vintage 2014,50% 2017 and 50% 2015/2016(60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay).Dosage is only 1g per Litre, resulting in a very dry style. The wine is aged for six months in the Cellar after disgorgement. The wine is complex, on the nose it shows notes of citrus oil, nashi pear, macadamia. Finish is long and mineral.
