A varietal tracing its roots all the way back to 780AD, the Montepulciano is an Italian icon of historic proportions, beautifully expressed in the Sabazio Rossi.

Medium bodied, the Sabazio Rossi Montepulciano hails from the Braccesca vineyards only a hop, skip and jump away from the town of Montepulciano, home of the eponymous grape. A blend of Sangiovese and Merlot, it's a thoroughly Mediterranean medley with fresh fruit and a moreish acidity embodying its cool climate soil.

An Italian red fit for the most ancient of kingly quaffers, the Sabazio Rossi is a marvellous modern iteration of an Italian idol.
