This stunning Riesling by Balthasar Ress is an Erste Lage Schützenhaus which is the German equivalent of a Premier Cru Riesling in a way and wow this is just the gold standard of a Kabinett style Riesling.

Although it is off-dry it still has an impressive level of natural acidity and texture so that slight sweetness is perfectly balanced with the crisp green apple and floral notes.
