Tasmania is renowned for making some of Australia's best sparkling and Barringwood's Classic Cuvee is not letting the team down. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay have been used in almost equal amounts, with Pinot Meunier contributing 13% of the blend. Tremendously well balanced, it sits in between rich and lean. Notes of biscuit, straw, crisp lemon, and white flowers are complemented by its fine bubble and slightly creamy finish. There's potential for it to age up to five years but there's absolutely no reason why you can't pop open a bottle right now.
