Chenin Blanc from the Home Block, 6 kilometres north east of the Wairapa Junction, North Canterbury. The block is 0.5 hectares only, all organic fruit fermented in neutral barrel. Aromatics carry hints of lemon, honey, straw and an incredibly subtle mushroom note. The wine has notes of quince , nutmeg and beeswax , followed by white peach, pine nuts, honey and a touch of salt. It is dry with a refreshing acidity.
