A limited release wine from a site that Andre and Selina Bondar consider to be among the best vineyards for Grenache in McLaren Vale, Sue Trott’s 70 year old Wilpena vineyard in Blewitt Springs has provided the source for a Grenache of impeccable quality. Hand picked, and aged in old French oak for 10 months, Trott's steep, east facing vineyard, alongside the attention to detail given by its small production, helps produce a wine with dark fruit character, and of excellent structure. 

Dark berries and a sort of ferrous minerality dominate the palate, as some powerful tannins help give this wine a strong, lingering finish.
