A cooler than usual year for the region played perfectly for Andre Bondar's propensity for perfume and power in his wines. A blend of grapes from 10 blocks within the Rayner Vineyard, some reaching 70 years in age, drives a Shiraz of complexity. The wine saw only 10 months in all seasoned oak, with the result being balanced between bright and plush, without feeling weighted down by excessive oak.
