Brash Higgins NDV Nero d'Avola Amphora comes from Omensetter Vineyard and pairs vivid red fruit with spice, citrus peel and a distinctive savoury edge.

The release notes describe destemmed grapes fermented with naturally occurring yeasts, then aged on skins and seeds for six months in locally made, beeswax-lined clay amphoras.

Black cherry, tomato, stem ginger and orange peel aromas lead to pomegranate, raspberry and morello cherry on the palate. Sweet-and-sour cherry acidity keeps the wine refreshing, while a bitters-like note adds a Negroni-inspired twist to its complex profile.
