When Brash Higgins' founder Brad Hickey first laid eyes on the Omensetter vineyard, he knew that the grapes grown there deserved something special. Aged over three years in French oak, and then for another three in the bottle before release, the barrel and bottle ageing process is a first for Brash Higgins. To cap off this tender loving care, Hickey hand picked every cork to seal his wine - no mean feat even in a batch of only 2000 bottles.

Blood orange flavours are prominently featured thanks to the Shiraz grapes, while the Cabernet gives a mix of tea and meaty savouriness. If you can wait to open one of these rare and beautiful bottles, the red wine inside will only improve in flavour, texture and complexity.

With only 2000 bottles in ever made, Omensetter Shiraz Cabernet is a rare and delightful treat, and opening a bottle is an occasion in itself.
