Santis is Switzerland's most well known local whisky. Hailing from the Appenzell alps each whisky is matured in ancient beer or wine barrels which are more than 130 years old to impart wonderful aromas to the whisky. This particular edition is aged in small oak beer barrels. Increasing the barrel to liquid ratio during maturation ensures depth of flavour creating wonderful fruity malt and oily fine wood tones to this whisky.
