Dark Matter is not your average spiced rum. Made at a purpose-built distillery in Banchory, Scotland from the finest possible ingredients, it's a spice driven rum rather than being syrup based.

Following the distillation of the highest purity level refiner’s grade molasses, the fresh spices are added for a week long infusion. Fresh ginger, green peppercorns, allspice berries, and Indian long pepper create a unique spice profile, and then finally 60 g/l molasses is added back for sweetness. No caramel colour is added.
