A main feature of this Pinot Noir parcel is deliberate close planted, high density vines, resulting in a wine with enhanced power and character while maintaining a sense of elegance.

Palate of red fruit blending into black cherry and purple flowers. All the while being supported by fine tannins and great acid backbone. 

Wild fermented with 60% whole bunches, and held on skins for 21 days with frequent plunging and foot stomping and no temperature control. Pressed to 500 litre French oak puncheons (13% new) and left for 12 months prior to bottling without fining or filtration and minimal sulphur.
