Jo Perry's Yokel are not only deliciously fresh and bright; Jo also dedicates a portion of the profits from the sale of these wines to land conservation and rehabilitation for the lovable Western Swamp Tortoise (who is also on the label of the wines).

Grenache, sourced from some very old bush vines, planted by the Vino Italia family in the 1950s. This is high quality fruit, all hand-harvested by the family themselves and delivered to the Dormilona winery with love. It was destemmed into open fermenters to do its thing on skins for around a week, and then it was gently basket-pressed straight to tank. Bottled with minimal sulphur.
