Perhaps a more approachable wine when compared to their flagship Chardonnay, the Louis Chardonnay still boasts the complexities expected from a significant Tasmanian wine producer such as Freycinet Vineyards, while keeping costs down to an easy mid-week spend. 

Made to enjoy now or with minimal cellaring, this wine was fermented in 100% French oak barriques; a nod to the wines of Chablis. This creates subtle oak notes, without overpowering the freshness that they're chasing. Loads of citrus and peaches come to mind, with a lively, bright palate, and a beautiful, rounded creaminess on the finish.
