Made from 100% Estate-grown fruit from Tasmania, the Louis Pinot Noir goes through similar production techniques to the flagship Pinot Noir by Freycinet, but it's the maturation style that differs. Aged for only 5 months in French oak barriques, of which only 10% are new oak. This imparts minimal influences, giving enough to build a gentle structure in which to frame the fruit, while keeping things fresh and fruit-driven. 

Pretty aromatics of fresh cranberries, strawberries and cherries invite instant delight. The palate delivers the same suggestions, with a plush, juicy roundness rolling across the palate. A wine made to be enjoyed now, or with short-term cellaring.
