Description

It takes a while for this V.S.O.P Rhum to get anywhere near a bottle during production. It is first aged for a minimum of 4 years in the cellar, before being transferred to re-charred Bourbon barrels for 3 years, and finally transferring into new American oak barrels to sit for 1 year more. Only then is it ready for the bottle.

The result is a delicious, full-bodied Rhum perfect to sip straight on ice or to go into a cocktail. On the nose is a tropical bouquet of banana, lychee and mango, coupled with hints of vanilla bean and quince. The tropical notes carry over onto the palate, and are joined by spiced notes of vanilla and cinnamon, as well as beautiful smokiness and woody undertones. Structured and even all the way through.
