Description

An uncommon, yet charming blend of Folle Blanche (Picpoul), of which is about 50-60%, and then balanced out by Pinot Noir, from vines ageing between 18 and 30 years. With yields kept low, the base wine ferments naturally, before going through its second fermentation in bottle, where it remains for minimum of 24 months.  Dosage is kept low too.

The attention to detail is somewhat similar to a Champagne grower, and the resulting wine shows it too, with its impressive depth and complexity. Mineral driven with citrus features, and fresh nectarines alongside a flinty, talc-like, salty complexity, while smoky Pinot Noir cherry finishes. All class!
