The Villages collection by Mac Forbes represents a big step in a broader understanding of the amazingly diverse Yarra Valley and its sub regions. For years the Yarra has been represented by single vineyard wines and blend, but they aim to bring more light on how amazing each specific sub region can be.

Gladysdale sits at the southern end of the Yarra Valley below Yarra Junction and receives great warm air that travels through the Valley which gives great aromatics to the wines grown in this sub region.

Seductive yellow stone fruits and honeysuckle play on the nose, with just a hint of curd providing intrigue. Generosity on the palate is balanced with bright fresh fruits and a fine silty structure that knits everything together.
