The village wine by MDI, inspired by delicious Italian varietals that are grown across Mildura and Swan Hill. Each year sees different varietals used, although this vintage was for the most part Ansonica and Ribolla. Each is left on skins for a small time, then left further in barrel. A fun, easy, and rather introductory approach to skin-contact wines, this was made to show you the charm of Italian varietals grown here in Australia, in a region that is increasingly producing wines with character and class.
