The fruit is sourced from a northeast-facing block in the Far Horse Vineyard, where sandy soils rest over coffee rock on a gentle five-degree slope.

Crafted in stainless steel, this release reflects the winemaker's (Peter Dredge) meticulous approach: only 300 litres of juice were extracted per tonne—far below the typical 500–550 litres. The wine rested on lees for three years before being disgorged in late 2024 with a dosage of 3g/L. Classic Meadowbank characteristics of strawberries and forest fruits are accompanied by good acidity and generous texture.
