Description

Thought to be a combination of MV6 and D5V12 clones, according to winemaker Peter Dredge, fruit was hand harvested over a span of two weeks at the Meadowbank vineyard. The wine was then fermented on skins for a further two weeks, before being pressed to finish fermentation in a mix of old and new French Oak barriques, then finally, being matured for 9 months.

It's a Pinot of perfume and poise, delivering strawberries and cherries, with dried flowers and orange rind on the nose, and on the palate, finishing with firm, powdery tannins, and a pleasantly verdant undertone.
