An introductory Pinot Noir under the Mulline label, and yet this drinks well above its price. A blend of Pinot Noir sourced from around the Geelong region, this still seems to exact class, sophistication and a sense of place, showing not only what the region can offer, but just how skilled Ben Mullen is with Pinot Noir. It's exceptionally pretty, with raspberry and strawberry notes that will entice you, as they mingle with pepper and spice from the whole bunch ferment. The palate tends somewhere between light and medium bodied, with a lovely ripeness to the fruit creating an impressive length.
