Pure Syrah has only been bottled twice at Ravensworth, made in tiny batches of 60 dozen. This is a darker, earthier, more savoury expression than Ravensworth's more well-known and aromatic Shiraz Viognier blend. Flavours are predominantly black fruits, laced with spice and earthiness. Fine tannins hold the complex structure all the way to the long, measured finish. An excellent display of winemaking delicacy and finesse.
