Primitivo made in small quantities and bursting with juicy energy. Lush dark fruits are predominate on the palate, primarily blackberries and plum, but there's a delicious spiciness and bright acidity all the way through that prevents things from getting too sombre. Tannins are supple, and the finish is beautifully fresh. Best drunk young.
