A twin pack of Robert Moncuit Les Grand Blanc NV. One for now, one for later; if you can keep your hands off it!

This zippy drop of Champagne, with 80% hosted from the recent vintage and 20% from reserves, showcases exactly what kind of meticulous fruit can be produced from the Grand Cru vineyards within the chalky soil regions of Mesnil-sur-Oger and Oger, in the Cote des Blancs. Portions of the wine see some time in neutral oak too, in order to round out some of its naturally high acidity, and add some texture and richness. Bottled in an Extra-Brut style, with very minimal dosage.

It displays precise minerality through the palate, offering notes of tart green apples, peaches, and pears, all encompassed by brioche notes, while a fine mousse caresses, offering a stunningly detailed finish.
