Swartland is a fantastic wine region north of Cape Town in South Africa, known for producing excellent, fruity wines. The Secateurs Red Blend is primarily a mixture of Cinsault and Shiraz grapes, a delicious and characterful combination that really shows off the region.

Smokey and a little peppery to smell, there are vibrant red fruits to be tasted in the Red Blend. Quite dry, but still dangerously quaffable, it's the ideal medium bodied red wine to accompany food without claiming all the attention.

You wouldn't expect to pay so little for a wine made with three generations of family experience and from such a great region. But Secateurs is ridiculously affordable and outrageously drinkable.
