A beautiful, lifted, intensely aromatic skin-contact wine. The L'Ambre is an interesting blend of Semillon, Muscat a Petits Blanc and Pedro Ximenez - the latter two grapes are generally found in sweet and fortified wines, but this is a lovely dry drop. Extended maceration and barrel ageing have made this a deeply textural wine with great grip, though freshness is perfectly preserved. Flavours consist of delicate tropical fruits, splashes fresh citrus peel and just a touch of tea leaves. Clean and dry to finish off.
