Perhaps the most accessible style of the three single region Fiano's released under Unico Zelo, the River Sand offers a moderate-low level of acidity and moderate levels of ripeness. Winemaker Brendan describes it as, "Broad and voluptuous without being overly heady, aromatic or intense."

Fruit was destemmed and left on skins overnight, before being pressed to stainless where it underwent fermentation. Following that, it was racked off gross lees, and aged for 9 months in stainless on fine lees. It underwent a further 9 months of bottle age before being released. 

Ripe aromatics of juicy pineapple, with golden kiwifruits and apples surrounding it. The palate feels round and waxy, showing stone fruits amongst almond kernel, with refreshing acidity.
