Its 9 months on lees creates a remarkable pulpiness and a great line of acidity for balance. Not to be confused with the classic Riesling variety, this Croatian/Austrian grape is often cultivated as an every-day white wine, however, Velich Welschriesling stands out as flavorful and full of character.
