Jean Paul has made wines all over the world, starting his career in Burgundy, France and falling in love with making wines that are a pure expression of the land. Moving to Chilie later in his career he also fell in love with their local varietal Carmenere and has since been making back home in Victoria.

This latest incarnation of his Carmenere he managed to pick at the perfect time which gave it the best of both worlds, getting the savoury notes that normally come with picking early, as well managing to keep it quite strong and rich which is normally associated with later picked.

A great wine full of deep blackberry notes and slight hints of fresh green peppercorns, this is truly a stunning alternative to a more full bodied Cabernet.
