Yarra Valley winemaking can be a tricky art - when things go wrong an insubstantial flinty flavour can be the result. Rob Hall's Pinot Noir is a sublime example of what happens when everything goes right.

Packed with flavour and structure, this Pinot shows the skills of the winemaker and quality of the fruit. Though bright and fresh now, the man himself says the sour cherry and raspberry flavours will only improve in the cellar.

There's not a lot of pomp and circumstance going on at Rob Hall's winery. His wines are made with enough thought and love, and are such good value, that he clearly feels they can speak for themselves. Luckily for this man of few words, they can.
